Gransanger av underarten tristis

Fuglen ser ut til å mangle innslag av gulgrønne fjær i mantel, isse og øyering. Oversiden klart gråere enn vingene. Øvre del av øyeringen er beige. Fuglen hadde ikke spesielt kort andre håndsvingfjær (P2=P7/8). Vingelengde: 59 mm.

This bird seems to lack any yellow-green feathers in the mantle, crown and eye-ring. The upperparts are contrastingly greyer than the wings. The upperparts of the eye-ring is buffish, or maybe it shows a faint yellow tinge? The bill might have too much yellow on the base of the lower mandible for typical tristis, but little information is available regarding the importance of this character. No conclusion has yet been reached on the identity of this bird, and it may be a borderline case. Any comments are welcome! The bird didn't have a particularly short second primary (P2=P7/8). Wing: 59 mm.
